I have a site plan, with a vehicle and property lines. I wish to turn off the visibilty of the the vehicle but the property lines go too ( as site components) Is there a way of making individual objects visible? I tried temporay hide which is ok... but it still plots....no good thanks for any help

You can edit the vehicle families and put them on a sub-category of site and then only turn that sub-category off in the visibility settings... or you can use worksets. With worksets you can put the vehicles on their own workset then turn that workset off. Or...you can use view filters to control visibility of objects based on a parameter you define.

It also depends on how the vehicle's built. If it is built purely from Revit by solids then you can specify the subcategories, if the family is created by importing a 3d autocad block then you can go to visibility graphics, under "imported categories" and turn of the imported 3D block.

all the above plus you could set up a design option to control whether or not the car is included in the views you create..........if it was an import (which i hope it is) the easiest way would be through the vis graphics as above. Regards John J
