I have been using Revit as the preliminary design, rendering, and DD tool in my small firm for three years. My two drafters typically finish the CD's in autocad and I go on to the next design. (We do it this way because detailing in Autocad appears more efficent than detailing in Revit, my guys are already proficient in Autocad, so it didn't make sense to change.) So, I feel pretty competent in some of Revit but feel lacking in a lot of knowledge about worksets, organizing, detailing, coordinating, etc. involved in doing a complete project with Revit, particularly a larger project. I am merging my firm (here in Little Rock) with another and one of the reasons is their desire to receive my Revit experience. Our plan is to gradually go to Revit totally, which will mean larger and more comprehensive projects, and I am wanting to shorten that learning curve. Where is the best place to go for advanced training? AU in Las Vegas looks interesting but I can't justify that much time and expense at this time, maybe later, though. The AUGI camps in this region appear to be very light on Revit offerings. (Has anyone else noticed how little Revit content is in AUGI Newsletters and Camps?) Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Our firm hooked up with the software distributor and was able to set us up with a three day training session with an architect that uses only Revit. Maybe you could look into doing the same.
