just got this back for autodesk. this is how you fix the ghosted level issues. when it is all done you will have to realign some of your elevation level lines if you moved them from the standard location. but it is better than starting all over.
1.Select all the good levels (window over the elevation and filter to “levels”).
Window entire elevation view, Click on Filter button, Select Level Category only.
2.Switch the good levels to a different or no level head style.
Change in the type window the current Level family type to Level: Story Level – No head
3.In the Project Browser, select all instances of the ghost levels’ level head (almost always the previous style of the good ones). This will select the ghost levels.
In Project Browser, Open the Family Category to Level Head – Circle; Right Click on this category and Select All Instances. Hit the Delete key to remove ghosted levels.
4.Delete the selected levels.
Skip, covered in Step 3 above.
5.Replace the head style of the good levels.
Repeat Step 1 above, in Step 2: Change Level family type back to your Level: ¼” Head type. Done!!
