Hi... I need to know is basic terms whats the best way to make revit run super fast with minimum fatal errors. Im not computer savvy, just give me the scoop in plain english!

When you talk to your local computer builder, or who ever you buy your computer from, tell them what you plan to use it for. If you can provide them with the "System Requirments" that Revit lists on the box, as well as on their web site.

The link above will take you there. Print these requirments and take them with you. Revit is a system hog. I would recommend exceeding these requirements wherever possable. Especially in the CPU and RAM. A big video card doesn't hurt. You could be looking at spending $2,000 (US) or more for a machine that can keep up.
