Can't seem to add a shared parameter to a room key schedule. This would be very nice to have!

I was wondering if you have had any more luck with getting around the Shared parameter in the Key Schedule. I've recently been working with finish schedules for rooms and have gotten 2 methods to work, both with draw backs. Using shared parameters I can get multiple finishes for rooms instead of the standard 1, also works well for creating tags. The draw back to shared parameters is the key schedule, i have a project with multiple room types (i.e offices, conference rooms, bathrooms,....) so using this method would be ideal, but you cannot add the shared parameter to the schedule. I can do the same thing with project parameters and the key schedule works beautifully for assigning finishes via the room style. the drawback here is I do not know how to tag it using this method. Any ideas?
