Is there a way to take a plan from Revit to insert into MS Word with high quality? I've tried tiff, .jpg, targa. Tried thru file>export. All come out with resolution loss especially on text. A .pdf is very crisp, but cant be used in a word document. Also tried to import a .dwg and word says "an error occured", tried several times in 2004 and 2000 autocad format exports.

I did exactly that, with various zoom sizes from 15% tp 100% They all yield as shown in attachement detail area a fuzzy image for non-recatlinear parts

if you want to insert it into MS Word as a raster image you will get better quality if you print to pdf first and open the pdf in Photoshop and save it to a raster file format such as jpg. if you want it as a vector file in Word, then print to dwg first and export out of Autocad as a WMF with the WMFOUT command and then insert the wmf into word. Thank you Coreed! The the WMFOUT routine works perfectly. I note that the autocad file layer color and linetype settings must be exactly as you want them to appear in the word document and all is well.
