Hi, You know what really irritates the h_ll out of me. The way lines types all default the A-DETL layer. If I saw a need to give that line a distinct layer, it should default to the same name. I know I can manually edit these, but it is a PITA. I hope I am just missing a setting so I can be embarrassed instead of being extremely annoyed. Sam

Hi Nandini, Thanks for posting. I should probably mention that I am a big Revit Fan. After a year and a half with not too many gripes. Problem is, I usually notice that I forgot to edit a few added layers after I have exported and I am well on my way. After a year and a half of this I finally blew a fuse. I realized, this is just plain stupid! Thanks for Listening, Sam

I hear you! exporting to dwg is a pain in the neck!! why so much trouble from a company that sells the 2 products is beyond me... fair enough, when Autodesk bought Revit, one can expect a period of of getting everything to work, but we are on 9.1 and 10 to be released soon, one would expect a better dwg export without getting lost in the export layers... Smile
