Can someone tell me where i can go to download accurender materials for revit?? I know that you can edit the materials to make new ones but i was just wondering if there is someplace that i can go to download a bunch of them instead of having to invest time in editing the existing materials. And also is their anyplace where i can download more image maps? I was working on a interior rendering and the Acoustical Tile that comes with revit evertime i rendered the scene the ceiling tile appeared to be more gray than it was white. I tried editing the existing 24 x 24 ACT map using Photoshop hoping to create one that was more white and after i edited the existing map it changed the scale of the ceiling grid, so instead of having a 24 x 24 grid the grid appeared to be around 12 x 12 after i rendered. Hopefully someone can lead me in a direction where i can download some more material maps, thanks

I dont know where you can download some materials. If you find some tell me because I'm looking too. But i think the solution for your problem about gray appearence of white objects is to make a custom material from a material of your choise. Save it in "User" library and then right clik on it and select edit. Now to "Main" tab change value 0.000 to 0.500 to "Self Luminance" space. I hope to have a good apearence now

You can also make your own materials from Jpg's.All you need to do is map it in your new material. Post edited on 2006-09-15 04:53:07
