barboumatt active Joined: Wed, Sep 29, 2004 3 Posts No Rating	hi being new to revit i know little about families but I would like to know.. how to create a piece of furniture/window/door etc where the dimentions can be altered by going through the properties tab in the model. ie without changing the original family and resaving as something else. ----------------------------------- Matty B

Rythmick active Joined: Thu, Apr 22, 2004 160 Posts	Matty, that would be done by creating or editing the family and using dimensions where you want possible changes and assigning them a parameter by picking the dimension and using the "Label" pull down menu to <add parameter>. Mike Lenz
