I am planning an apartment complex. There are more than 50 units and each units has different area. On the floor plans, I need to tag the each unit with unit number (like #101) and show unit's total square meters. On separate sheet (e.g. unit's plan) I need to show each room's area (living, bedroom, etc). I figured tagging rooms is quite simple but cann't figured out how to tag the unit and show its total area. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance.

Have you had a look at "Area Plans" yet? See menu View > New > Area Plan and then select a level to make an area plan of that level. Within the area plan you can define any areas you like e.g. draw outlines of unit, then you can tag that area and change the tag to "Unit #101"or whatever. See the help file for "Area Plan" which has quite a good description of its use. Hope this helps.

I tried it, but it calculates also the interior wall areas. I can only calculate the area within "unit's boundary walls", but then the unit's total area does not match up the total area of the rooms.
