Yes, tutorials are good, but it is lots of work to do them.
So there is not so many tutorials on RevitCity.
I send you one yesterday on families but it was five h ours of work to do it.

BUT there is many good tips on RevitCity but they are a little bit hard to find
so DO A COLLECTION OF THE TIPS
it is not so much work for you do - just copy the essentsial part of the tips and paste it into a new part of RevitCity namned TIPS - it is a four letter word that you can insert after the word CHAT and under the five letter word SEARCH.
And the members can easily find a TIPS - there are not always a need for a tutorial.
Have you got it?

Here some examples on what I mean:
maslloyd have showed something nice explaining how to take something från 3DS open it in AutoCad and import it into Revit to place materials on the parts.
Here is his example - hard to find:

JSavage has done somethiing good explaining how you can use PhotoShop to make something nice:
Here is his tips - hard to find:
http://revitcity.com/gallery.php?action=view&gallery_id=300

And he has also given this splendid tips:
To get around this I usually create a new 3d view, turn on the section box and adjust the box limits so only the detail I'm working on is visable. Revit uses the centre of the section box as the origin for the dynamic view spin.

Here it is hard to find after some days then it is no longer on the homeside:

And MR Spot is a very clever guy with a lot of tips.
And this Mr GG you cannot always trust, but sometimes...
And hjacobs he is always so good...
OK! Have you cot it to make RevitCity so much better... Content is King!
Just make a COLLECTION of the TIPS with a little copy and paste

Now it is on request.
