Hey Guys, Hows the compatibility between the two softwares? Are you able to work flawlessly between the two? How about consultants? Structural Guys. Any complaints? Need some advice. We are planning to switch to Revit from DataCAD Thanks in Advance

i've got the same question. I'm working a project that is in design development. My structural engineer has built his model based on mine. We both plan to supplement the CD's with CAD details from our libraries. The issue I have is my other consultants, MEP and Civil are not Revit savvy and will be working strictly 2D. I imagine I'll need to export 2D plans to AutoCad frequently. So far, I've been able to go back and forth (but it's been with small files). I've also been able to import a sketch up model into Revit as a mass.... Utlimately, my firm wants to be on Revit - we don't want to fall victim to the contractors who are doing more and more in 3D.
