Does anyone know how to speed up Revit 9. It is a lot slower than 8. Seems fine when you start working and slows down as soon as more and more windows are open. Eventually all the icons in the tool and option bars refresh across the screen like a mexican wave. Very annoying and I have to wait for the refresh to finish before I can work further. Has anyone experienced this wave effect ? I do not have any programs running in the background except anti-virus and ant-spyware. My pc: 64bit AMD 3500+ processor, 2GB ram, 128m Radeon RX600T video card, windows xp pro. Any suggestions ? Cannot go back to version 8 because of a lot of new work done in 9 and cannot be opened in 8. I have tried all the speed up options in windows xp, freeing up memory, etc. and even 3rd party memory optimizers but nothing works. Is there an upgrade or fix available in later builds ?

We had that problem in the begining with 9. But after downloading a update from Autodesk, all the slow problem disapeared. Now Revit 9 is verry nice to work with. Much better than 8.1. You can get updates here: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/index?siteID=123112&id=2334435&linkID=7139221
