This is a dull detail, but I am often annoyed in my search for an empty field to click and end a dimension string. Often over heavy patterns or background lines (sometimes invisible) I find another unintended element receives dimension.
Is there another command / work around to end dimension strings?

Your last click can be back inside your previous choice ... should be some room where your putting your dimension
