only 1/2 hour?? Smile you can lower the Radiosity a bit but this will effect your final image, you can also "Set the value in the spin box for Solution Goal. This limits the radiosity calculation to a certain number of steps. This value is used both for the initial number of steps when you first use the Radiate command and for any subsequent calculation by clicking Continue from the Options Bar." a better cpu maybe, though Revit is not yet taking advantage of dual core, but a fast CPU will help, since all the calculations are done there... ram and video card won't really effect rendering time.

Correction, Revit does take advantage of dual processors when rendering only.

hmmm, didn't think dual core made it to Revit... I know for sure they are working on a dual core for 10... it's not like Autodesk told us that revit supports OpenGL, is it?? Smile

It's been there since version 8.1 at least.

Accurender is far more dependant on your processer than your graphics so it stands to reason that the better your processer the better your rendering whereas other rendering products tend to allow for graphics cards.
