Can we use other RPC objects like Cars, Chair, Trees etc.... in Revit?
Can we use the Metric RPC template to create the above families in Revit?

Certainly can, however the new rpc files don't work. It all depends on the version of the rpc object...

Archvision - the RPC folks - does not write very much of diifferent versions
I Googled for: RPC-2 RPC-3 Rich Photorealistic Content
and found this adress from the japanes distributor
http://www.applicraft.com/rpc/RPCPlugIns.html
And this one:

On this adress you can see that Revit does not support RPC 3
but Accurender support RPC 3
More explanations I have not found
What is the difference between RPC 2 and RPC 3 ????
Here is something else... It is a guy who has written scripts for RPC and 3DS
Perhaps they - the scripts - can do it in Revit but I do not think so
