First, when i create a sheet and load it into my project, the label text i enter does not wrap, it goes off the border when i enter project name etc. how do i get the label text to wrap? second is i am trying to create my own labels using shared parameters. when i create them in the sheet family editor, i canot click the "filter parameter" button as it says in the help menu. when i go into the project, i go to project settings and select the shared parameter label but i cannot set it to be a type, only as an instance and i need it to be a type. how do i create a label in the sheet family editor to be a type. thanks

In the family: Simply adjust the wrapping points of the label parameter to have it wrap at the desired length. I always type example sample text to the maximum length in the family to ensure it wraps as i desire it to. So you've created a shared parameter called "Filter"? To use this in the project, Go to settings-->Project Parameters-->Add-->Shared Parameter-->Select the parameter Here you can now pick whether you want it to be a type or instance parameter. If you want it to be a type parameter i tend to add it to project information as an instance parameter. Which is essentially a type parameter as only 1 project exists. If you wanted each sheet to be different you would tick Drawing Sheets instead of Project Information.... HTH.
