Hi all, Questions again, have anybody try to create new material using material editor? My questions are: 1. Are there any other faster ways to create them instead of one by one in user folder? (i.e. create a group of same parameter and just mapping the JPG files onto that particular group) 2. What is the most minimum acceptable/ standard JPG size or resolution we should use? 3. Can we upload or download those material created anywhere on the web? Currently looking at converting all sort of finishes via material library (exmaple: tiles, laminate, marble from local suppliers) and find it very tedious. Almost fell aslept and seeking fast way to do it.

Have you been to the wishlist!!! Good Luck!!! http://www.accustudio.com/forum/wishlist.htm http://www.accurender.com/whatisnew.htm Accurender 4.0 is out in a Beta realese and there you find something of what you want to have. But it is not for Revit??? It is for Autocad 2004 and ADT.... http://www.accustudio.com/ http://www.accustudio.com/exchange/materials.htm Here you can find new libraries: Download the accustudio material library, build 19 (99Kb) They say that you have to install it direct under c:/ Accept the default unzip location or change the drive letter Can´t you change the path to another folder? Is there someone who has tried to install this new library? And http://www.accustudio.com/exchange/objects.php the objects section contains free 3D models with AccuRenderŽ materials pre-assigned. Look at the small icons beneath each model to see which format it is in, whether AutoCAD, Revit, or Rhino. But can anyone see those icons? What I can understand there is no alternative to use Accurender? Have anyone heard about using another renderer with Revit? The .jpg-sizes to use depend on the distance you are using between the camera and the object and how many dpi:s you are using then rendering. Perhaps there is some link to someone having a more elaborated view on this? Here is one(not answering your question, but... interesting): http://www.accustudio.com/forum/tutorials.htm Correct Scaling of Photographic Bitmaps This tutorial will show you how to scale masonry bitmaps to get correct sizing relative to your rendered scene, as well as create an AccuRender material so you can use it in your renderings.
