is there a way to cut curved walls by a shaped opening (triangular or curvy linear)..
edit profile works on straight walls but not in curved ones.

DO YOU MEAN LIKE THIS?
all you need to do is draw a reference line in plan, infront of you wall,
set the work plane to the reference plane yo have drawn (top left button it's called "Plane"
it will ask you what view to open, if you have a section line infront looking at your wall in elevations, pick it.
create a void family, draw your shape and make sure you cut the geometry off the wall when you finish

mmetin,
For some shapes you may want to create a void blend so the opening flares to follow the arc. Play and have fun! This is one of the most useful tips I ever stole from this site. ;>

Eldados, thank you very much for this explanation because it answered how to do this to many people but I'm a bit new as a revit user and I couldn't understand I think people like me need more attached drawings of the process (some kind of tutorial) to really understand. If you have the time to do that it would be of so much help to more of us. Thanks,

Hi there. I'm new to the revit and i'm in college atm doing it. I'm eager to learn more and i'm interested in doing what was described in this thread however i find myself a bit too fresh in revit to grasp how to do it...Not to mention that my teacher seem to be freesher than myself. Would really apriciate if someone could make a video or descibe it in step by step for me. Thanks in advance - my msn : krzysztofgoszka1@tlen.pl

I am trying to create a curved glass wall 1' thick, with circular openings for wine bottles. Is there any way to create the voids in the curved wall for the bottles?
