I am doing an addition to a house in Revit 9 and I have some of the model in the new construction phase and some of it in the exisitng construction phase. The rooms put themselves into a phase and I am unable to change the phase. Is there a way to change the phase of a room or to somehow have all the rooms show up on the room finish schedule regardless of their phase?

Rooms (and their tags) seem to be associated with the phase in which they were created. When you are tagging the existing plan you need to be sure you are set to existing in the phase under view properties. Likewise, when you are tagging the new construction you need to be set to the new construction phase in view properties. The rooms and tags you place in each phase are specific to that phase. Select all rooms and room names in original phases, you can then copy and paste into the new phases.
Best method for selecting all the rooms and room names, is selecting the entire model and using the filter tools to only select rooms and room names.
