I dont know how to explaine this other than this. I need to rotate this mass about the origin in elevation, so inside the family parapeters I can change the slope of this awning with out editing the family. Please help I cant figure this out for the life of me. Note I am using revit 9.

I'm not sure if this is what you wanted.
But I gave it a shot.
I used a sweep command instead of extrude command.
If you question was something more complex, then let me know and maybe I can help futher.
I'm running out to lunch now, though.
I'll check back in about an hour.

That family you sent me seemed to be an extrusion as well.

I left your extruded mass (roof) in the family and added an angled sweep undernieth. I left the extrusion on top for illustration purposes only.
