Hi all - I'm having some trouble creating coping using the in-place sweep. I've been creating sweeps from more complicated shapes, but for some reason when I try to use this particular profile, it keeps coming back with an error message. Thanks for any suggestions!

Hey...I don't know if you figured it out already but the problem with the profile that you posted was the location on the profile inside of the family. When creating profiles you have to be very carefull where the lines are actually drawn inside the file because the location inside of the family relates to where it is attatched to the model once its used. When I make a new profile I always go to an existing one, that I know works right and then draw it in the same location, keeping the top aligned so that I know where its going to pop into the file. I fixed the profile up for you....take a look, try it out and then compare the two and see if you kinda understand what the problem was. Let me know what you think and if you get it...profiles are kinda tricky.... :D Adam
