As I needed to do a sun study, I decided to check the shadows performanced by Revit. I've drawn the real shadow of an object ( known dimensions and angle) and tried to reproduce it in Revit. But the measured real shadow didn't match Revit's shadow. Geographic cordinates are correct, date is correct. The time zone is not editable and even I choose Brasilia (GMT-3:00) the value always change to Groenland. Revit shadows should match the real ones? What shoul I try to produce reliable shadows?

I wonder what method you used to producre the "real" shadow? you can't edit the time zone but you can add your excact location by editing the UnicodeENU file normally under: CPuhrogram FilesAutodesk Revit Building 9ProgramAr3RedistUnicodeENU and adding your location (that's how i added Brisbane that for some reason Autodesk does not think is a city in Australia...)
