Me and another co-worker have been working on a project, and lately we have noticed that after we modify( example grid lines or fixtures) we save them to the central and local file. The next day we open our file and its not there, even couple other grids are missing. We think there is a Glitch with revit and how it saves. Has anyone else run into this or similar?

It has to do with the 2D/3D extents of gridlines. You are modifying a gridline in one view, changing the 3D extents of the gridline, which may make the grid not cross the cut plane of the view in another view, and therefore it wont display. Look around your other views, and I bet you find the grids.

Hi Scott, thanks for responding, That was the first thing we did, is to make sure everything was visible on, and checked the other views. They were simple gone, not in the file. Plus its wasnt just the grid lines, we have some fixture cases that were gone too, but we had saved the fixture family as seperate files, so we didnt lose alot of time, just had to re-insert them. We are going to keep a closer eye on it, and note anything missing aswell. Thanks
