Hi
i am the building cad designer for reed construction and i need to find out how to chang the way that the flanking walls join the party wall on a terrice block of houses.
As you all will know we have to follow the Robust detail plan for Block and wet plaster or face a big payout to a sound enginer for testing.
How can i acomplish this in revit

In the wall setup you can set each layer of the wall to different priorities. Priorities of the same level will trim together. Ie: Finish (4) or Finish (5) or Structure (1) or Substrate (2) or Thermal/Air Layer (3). A 4 layer and another 4 layer will trim to each other. If you have a wall with a 1 layer and another with a 1 layer and a 5 finish layer, the 1's will join to each other and the 5 inbetween will be cut out.
I hope i made some sense anyways.
