I'm having difficulty changing my fireplace to a different type of stone. When I load the family back into the project, not only is the hatch pat gone, but the fireplace appears yellow/brown and renders the same. Anyone have any suggestions, please. Thanks

Post the family so I can have a look at it.

After you reload the family into your project you need to go to <Settings> and select materials. You need to edit the material list so that the project material information is the same as the family material information. Project materials overight families materials imported into a project unless your family has exclusive naming convention not already in the project.

Thanks! It seams to be working now. I will try to upload my fireplace soon. When I do, will my maps and textures still apply? Thanks, Poppy

If you created your own maps or materials then they wont work on ours. Not such a big problem since we can always create our own textures.
