IMPORT YOUR SITE PLAN IN AUTOCAD AND DRAW IT OUT AS YOU WOULD NORMALLY. tHEN GIVE EACH CONTOUR THE SPECIFIED Z HEIGHT IN 3D. YOU SHOULD HAVE YOU A STEPPED LINE LOOKING KIND OF LAND IN ACAD 3D. THEY SHOULD ALL BE CLOSED ALSO. THEN SAVE IT AS A DWG. IMPORT IT INTO REVIT. IT WILL BE FLAT. THEN GO TO TOPOSURFACE AND CLICK IMPORTED INSTANCES. fINISH SKETCH AND YOU SHOULD HAVE A NICE TOPOSURFACES WITHOUT USING THE POINTS SYSTEM OF REVIT.

If your surveyor topographic drawing has points with x,yand z coordinates, try this:
On the web,find a lisp function called ascpoint.lsp, run this function in Acad (Appload, then follow instructions)
This will provide you a CSV list (coma separated value)
import the list in Revit
Magic!!
