I noticed in my plans recently that i have 3 different shading colours, some even with the same properties. Some walls are white infills, some are grey, some are concrete. Even within the same object properties, the cut section of the walls are in different colours. I would like to control it to make it consistent. Help!

This may be a silly question. Are the walls at different heights? If the clip plane in the view properties is set above some of the walls, it will make those walls appear to have different fills.

I think i kind of solved it. its really weird because sometimes when you join walls to columns and they have different properties, the hatching would eventually turn to a wall hatching. i couldnt figure it out to make the column have a concrete hatching and the wall as blockwork and at the same time they are joined. so what i did was created another file with the columns ahd linked it to the original file so it wouldnt change hatching. Plus, the consistency of the hatchig is also controlled by the detail level.
