what's the deal with section lines? When I place one on a floor plan view, it will automatically show up on some addtional floor plan views. With that being said, it won't show up on others. Why does this happen and how do I get them to show up on the views that didn't automaitcally get populated? Thanks in advance Randy

you can do one of two things...... if the section actuall does not cut through that level, i n the section pull the crop region down, it will automatically disapear when not physically cutting through that level or just hover over the tag, right click and pick "Hide Annotation in View"

There is a property setting in a section property box called "hide at scales courser than". If you cut the section in a 1/4"=1'-0" plan this property will default to 1/4"=1'-0". If you then go to an 1/8" plan that section will not be there. If you change the property to 1/8" then it will show up. There is another possibility that phases are in play. If you cut the section in a view with a phase 2 setting, then it will not show up in a phase 1 view. HTH Tom
