Lets say you want to lay out your shelving project or casework job on Revit so you can show your wife before you build the monster. Is there something as simple as a wood or plywood option to use in Revit to draw up case work designs ?

you can draw them up as a "create in place" family. It's just like drawing up a custom family but you can do it inside the project file. You can create virtually any shape object (xcept meshes) and apply materials to them...

there are also tons of casework families already created for download on the revit site...you might want to take a look at that... go here and click on "download content" http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=3106396&linkID=2749457 -hj-

Check Out the free casework files under resources at the web site below...if you can't find what you're looking for you can edit one of theirs.

God Bless you and your miss-us.
