Hello everyone! I'm a new Revit user, currently on version 8. I'm working on my first project, entirely on Revit, nothing complex, but I'm new to the program, come from ChiefArchitect and Softplan... Thanks!

Hey xacto, Welcome to the site! The first project is always a steep learning curve but make sure you comb these forums for info, and never be afraid to ask us - we feel so intelligent when people ask us questions! Good luck with your first project and be sure to post up some of your glory-shots when you start to resolve the model to let us check out your work! Post edited on 2006-07-20 22:16:36

Hey xacto! Yes, yes, i agree with my New Zealand friend - Welcome to the world of Revit! Feel free to ask anything, or just chat, however im in a different time zone (so is hisdirt) so i might not be able to help you straight away. Either way, hows it going over there on the other side of the world? :D

Thanks for the heads up! I'm a bit nervous with the completion time, but I'll give Revit a try for this project, I'm going through several tutorials I found on the net and learning as I go. Thanks again!!
