Hey everyone! I'm new to the forum and kinda new to Revit, but what i've read in here has really helped, but i have a question regarding my laptop. It curently has 2GB ram which i understand is sufficient. And i have thenew 2.75 Centrino Duo in the laptop. So my question: Is there a way to program my Dual Processors to better work on revit?? Or a least point me in the direct where to find information like that? MattEarl

Revit hasn't come out with a dual core capable version, or a version that is 64 bit compatible. AutoDesk recommends a 2.8GHz processor and having a 2.75 is close enough to that unless you are doing a lot of Revit rendering. So really I don't see anyway to program your dual processor so it works better with Revit, 2.75GHz should be enough to run Revit and still have firewalls and such running in the background. If and when Revit releases a version capable of using both cores at the same time there isn’t any way that I see to program your CPU to make Revit more efficient.
