Hello, I'm new to making Families so forgive me here.
I am trying to make a door family with a frame around the door opening. I can get it created but I can't get the frame to match the wall thickness on its own. Can anyone explain how to make the sweep of the door frame match the door thickness of what ever I attach the family to?
Do I use Linear Dimension and Labels/Parameters? or is it a setting.
Sorry I'm probably not explaining what I am look for here.
I've found a Family on the site that is similar to what I want to do, but I can't match what they are doing. (Families/Doors/Single/Single Flush with frame - http://www.revitcity.com/family_explorer_results.php?action=view&family_id=1894)
Thanks for any help you can give me.

When you edit your sweep profile sketch align and lock the front and back of frame to the front and back of wall.
