Hello, I am trying to export a 3D model from REVIT to DWG to make an image. All the different objects i needed in the families i created are splitted in subcategories, and it works perfectly. All these different objects are splitted in different layers in the exported dwg. Does anybody know if it is possible to split the materials in different layers. For example, i created two different kind of floors, with a different finishing material on top. When i export this, the two materials arrive in the dwg in the same layer. If you want to create the image in 3D max or Viz, it is not a problem because the export creates a pcp file, with all the information about the different materials. When you open the dwg in autocad, you don't see the difference, but in viz, all the materials are well splitted as in Revit. BUT, if you want to open the dwg in an other software than viz or max, you have a real problem with this ! So i think that the only solution is to split the materials in subcategories ! But is it possible ??? Or has anybody an other idea ??? Thank you in advance, guys !
