Has anyone figured out a way of using shared parameters so they can schedule the samd data across multiple categories. For example we would like to ba able to Tagg doors so the door mark and its associated room appear in the same tag. Or we would like to tag an area which shows the ceiling height? Ive been loking into it for a while and cant seem to figure out if REVIT can even do it, is this even possible? Right now we use shared parametrs but need to enter the data seperately into each category.

As long as the shared parameter is used in a family or tag it should register inside a shedule. So in other words assign the shared parameter in your in your tag and your family and it should work in both plus the shedule.

Hi Elmo,
I actually need to ba able to schedule data from two categories in the one tag. I would like to be able to use a door tag for example which pulls data from a shared parameter in the door family but also a shared parameter associated with a room.
In more detail: I want to be able to load a shared parameter called room number and associate it with the door and room categories, then be able to enter the room number into the room but be able show this data in the door or window tag.

Rod,
As you've discovered this is not possible. Even a multi-category tag can only reference information from a single family at a time. It would be a very nice inclusion however.
