Seems like I have to change the appearance of grid lines and level lines everytime I go into the different views for the first time.
Is there a "gridline template" option, so to speak, that I can apply to to the various views.
For instance, all of my plan views could have the same gridline setup, but I have to manually position the gridlines in each view. Same situation exists for my elevations. Likewise, if I change my gridline locations in one view, I then have to manually adjust the other views if I want them consistant, and I do.
I have the same issue with level lines in my elevations.
Seems that the "apply view template" concept could have other applications.
Also seems like my level heads will somehow move around throught the course of a project. Is there a way to make them more stable?? It might be my imagination.

FYI
Turns out that after you put your gridlines in a floor plan view, you can select all instances of the gridline that you want to see in other views.
Hit propogate extents and select all the views that you want the grid line "template" to be the same as the original view.
You'll have exact duplicates of the gridlines that you established in the orig. view.
