Hi, nice to meet you all I am new to this Revitcity and I find it very helpful in the sense of sharing information on revit especially on the technical side. I enjoy the technical forum and hope I can contribute more in the near future. However, I would like to suggest to further breakdown the grouping of the technical issues because at the moment the technical issues posted on technical forum is too vast and spread out over 13 to 14 pages. Somehow, I think it is better to further sub-group under different technical issues such as technical issues related to OCDC, rendering, hardware and software compatabilities, component creation etc. In that way, we can easily go through all the relevant sections and prehaps not repeatedly posting the similar forum I believe that will be practically more technical issues on the web-development side but if it require to shut down the website, then I think I will definitely miss this website. Perhaps, we leave it as it is would be the best outcome for all. Open for discussion!

It is not hard for us to add additional forums at this point, but we don't have sub-category capabilty programmed into the site. And at this point, it might be an arguous task to go through and categorize the old posts. If you are interested in a new forum or two open up, please let us know. At a certain point, there can be to many forums, and posts can get confused or lost. We started with only one category and have slowly grown it over the last year and a half as the forum has gotten more and more activity. Also, there is a forum search tool, if you are looking for something specific. In the top right corner you will find a small form, enter your search terms and select forum from the drop down. Then click go and hopefully you'll find an old post on your topic.
