Hello to all users In my projects i use to import furnitures (sofas, chairs, tables etc) from dwg files But i have now a problem. Anything i import, in rendering it appears grey, even i change the materials of it, through Settings-Object Styles-Imported objects where i give to the imported object a material to each layer. I had the the same problem 5 months ago (i stopped using revit during these months), and somehow i found a solution. But it was (as it seems) by luck and not by knowledge. Did someone of you, have the same problem and what should i do? Please any help would be very but very welcome...

You need to edit the autocad file and assign the different components seperate layers. Then you can change the materials in Revit. I would rather try to model it in revit and assign my materials there.

Editing items in revit is not that simple and the results aren't such real, as from autocad or viz Thanks for answering
