i am in my first pass of documenting a building in which i am utilizing storefronts/curtain walls. are there any tricks to scheduling and creating detailed elevations of them ?(similar to creating a legend of windows and adding legend components of all the window types) or do you just have to do enlarged elevations or call outs for each storefront "type"?

Best I could figure out is to use the multi-category tag. Unfortunately, unlike windows, and doors, the type only refers to the storefront system type, ie, types of mullions and glazing, it cannot refer to a "unit" type.  Also, the only  way I am able to create a legend is to create a detail callout and hide all the  surrounding walls.

Unitized storefronts is really something revit  needs to add. Creating them using window tool does not really work since, a. interface sucks, b. doesn't really work like a unit storefront in that to insert a window, you need a wall.  I really wished you could create windows using the storefront interface.

Thanks for the advice, thats kind of the direction I went as far as creating callouts in elevation and then creating a view template that turns off all the unwanted stuff.
