Does anyone know how to create a section-perspective in Revit? To clarify just in case people don't know; a section cut where everything past the cut line is viewed in perspective. Example Ref: http://www.arch.montana.edu/students/classes/stevej/Riley%20section%20perspective%20slide-contrast-72.JPG

Create a camera view of your building. View menu > View Properties of the camera view and check the Section Box parameter. Spin the camera view a bit so you can see the section box frame and adjust it so it cuts the building the way you want. You can now use the View menu > Orient > To Other View > select a parallel elevation or a section view that is parallel to the building side you want to see and it will give you your perspective cut.

You might start by having a plan view open, and a 3D view. Select the plan view and >Camera from the View menu. You now see the new 3D view... right click the new 3D view and select "view properties"...look down the view properties menu to "Extents" for the Section Box. Once that is checked, you lose the new 3D image, but, a wireframe image shows up in its place. Click on the wireframe box that appears in the new 3D view. Push and pull the control arrows. Hopefully, you will see 3D sections being created.
