How does your firm handle coorination with engineers (if they are not part of your firm).
I am working on a large project with several different engineers who *gasp* still use autocad (i was joking, please don't flame me). I was wondering how some of you coordinate changes with consultants bidirectionally. This is what I mean:
1. You make changes to the building, send a dwg to engineer/consultant
2. Engineer/consultant reviews changes, makes appropriate changes, re-sends you a dwg
3. You review changes - and what now?
Since not everyone uses BIM, how do you incorporate consultant drawings into your virtual building if you do at all?
