So i'm not sure if this was already answered, i could find this exact situation

we have a site with 5 buildings. 2 buildings are reapeated. so i modeled each of them in a seperate model and then linked them into the site model which will hosue all the sheets and details and schedules. 

when i try to tag the doors within my site model, the buildings, we will call them A and B, they are showing the same door number. i'd like them to have a designation of something like A101 and B101. 

in the schedule, i added the Revit Linked Model building mark+the door number, so i can fake it in the schedule, but the tag won't match

how are you supposed to modify the door mark of the same door thats copied multiple times in a linked model...

hope this makes sense
