I have painted the reveals black to show the depth between panels they show fine in elevation but they don't render well at all in 3d anyone known any work arounds???

Can you show screenshots of: how it looks in elevation, your unrendered 3D view, and the rendered 3D view? The more info you provide, the better we can help you!
