I am hoping some one can help with keynoting in Revit Building 9. I am trying to keynote wall sections and I have no idea where to begin. So if anyone knows how to use this feature please let me know. Thanks Post edited on 2006-06-28 17:15:30

It's a pretty complex feature, you probably want to look it up in the Revit help section. However, the basics of it are that now most items have a new keynote parameter that can be mapped to an external keynote txt file. This allows any object to be "tagged" with a keynote in any view and that keynote will always display the same information no matter what view it's "tagged" in. It also generates a keynote list based on what items have been keynoted on what sheets.

Thanks for the help but I figured it out enough to set up a keynote system for our wall sections. Thanks

Hello

Is there a way to format the text of a keynote so that it comes in using a particular font and text justification?  I too wish there was a way to make the keynote look more like entered text with a 2 position leader + arrowhead.  Has anyone found a work-around?

 Thanks
