I AM CREATING A DETAIL USING DETAIL COMPONENT. PART OF THE DETAIL IS EXISTING AND THE REST IS NEW WORK. THE PROBLEM IS I LIKE TO SHOW THE EXISTING COMPONENT LIGHTER THAN THE NEW BUT CAN'T FIGURE OUT AWAY TO ACCOMPLISH THIS TASK. ANY SUGGESTION
THANKS IN ADVANCE

You might get the result you're looking for by going to the
"tools" drop down menu
select "linework"
select "thin lines" in the type drop down box in the header bar
then highlight the lines you wish to change. There's a way to add lines to that selection set, but I haven't done a lot yet with creating linetypes.
