I made a Generic Model Line Based family for trim and for some reason, the trim won't clean up at the corner. its acting like a wall that will disallow joins. Its very odd... I was wondering if anyone has come across this?
i attached the family file and an image
thanks for your help!!

What is your line-based family? I only see what appears to be walls.
Are you really wanting to use a sweep?

Are you using the modify sweep process? Once you place a sweep on one wall, you don't place a new sweep on the next wall. Instead you use the modify tool to add the next wall to the first sweep. You can continue all the way around.
See this video, it may help you. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=revit+wall+sweep#kpvalbx=_NootZOu9KM_L0PEP_PqI8A8_34 Start at about 2:49

sorry if i didnt explain that correctly, i'm not using a Wall Sweep.
I'm making individual pieces of trim, my family for the trim is a Line Based generic model and within that family, i used a swpp extrusion.
we dont use sweeps for trim because we group the trim and copy them around the project and we have walls at different angles and walls sweeps do not react well in groups, especially when they are copied and rotated.. which is why we model our trim
so back to my original question, why is the trim, which is a line based generic model, not joining cleanly at the ends? ithe family is attached to the first post in this thread if you want to try it out
