Hello,

I have been using Revit 2023 architectural template and the backup files are too many. How do I reduce them, ot jsut 4 maximum?

To change the number of backup files generated by Revit 2023, you can adjust the Maximum Number of Backups option in the File Save Options dialog box. Here's how to do it:

open the project file - "Options" - "File".

(on the File tab, in the File Save section, you will see the option "Maximum number of backups")

The default value is 20.

Change the "Maximum number of backups" value to 4 or whatever number you want.

Click "OK" to save your changes.

Revit will now create a maximum of 4 backup files per project.
