I am unable to load a Revit to ACAD export table in Revit 9. I started with the Revit AIA std which I pulled into Excel so I could sort and modify it. I resorted it to the original order prior to saving as a tab deliminated text file. Both the original txt file and my file appear to be the same but when I load mine, the category names are relisted in the layer name columns and no color numbers are listed.
Any ideas or experiences????

I've worked around the problem ... still don't know what was wrong. However, I have identified a problem that Revit doesn't expose in their help pages. It appears that they will only accept 0-9 color numbers. Colo numbers larger than 9 are parsed and only the first digit is used.
I can work around that my having a correct base sheet setup and then importing the eport file into it.... kind of kinky.
