So I can't seem to find anything about getting itm files converted to rfa files for use in modeling and everything for all the stuff u can do with revit families i.e. scheduling, adding extra parts etc...

Problem is

I want all the functionality of the revit items, but I want to convert to fabercation mep so everything can get made... so fabercation company I work with has mostly basic matpat xxx parts like pipes, elbows(those I convert easy as they badic 1D/1.3D/1.5D/2D elbows and such... but I want like the rfa files that are like wye cross 3 way with reducers and such... but out of box basic revit ductwork doesn't really match the makepat's from camduct. I know I can just poop in the itm from my camduct service but I lose alot of functionality with mep parts. I hear you can make parts in revit and convert them to itm files, but haven't tried that. But I just want basic out of box camduct makepat parts and not really custom pieces created... sorry for bad formatting and hopefully got what I am asking clear enough.

Thanks in advance as everything goes from rfa to itm but not other way around or even finding a basic download for common camduct parts is impossible for me to find any information about it
