- No annotation symbols will appear in my Electrical plan eg lighting/electrical symbols. The warning I get is "None of the created elements are visible in Floor Plan: Electrical Plan View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings, as well as any Plan Regions and their settings". My Visibility settings all seem correct. Any advice on what else I should check?

Try your "View Properties", (VP), settings, they may be set to levels which will not show the relevant symbols. You may also want to confirm what level the symbols are being inserted on. Double check your Visibility settings also, try turning all Annotation and Model categories on to see if the symbols show up. Ive found that some annotation isn't always listed under the categories you may think. Hope this helps.

Is it possible you are putting ceiling based lighting fixtures in a floor plan view? That would explain the message.

Try changing the discipline of the view to electrical under the view properties.
